ORANGE CAKE (5) Amongst the placegetters when 3rd last time around here and proven runner at this trip. Taiga Kurihara rates highly aboard. Performing honestly since returning from a spell. Hard to overlook. DEEP EFFECT (8) Showed promise when winning by 2 1/2L last run around here. Hasn't put a foot wrong this preparation with 2 wins from 2 starts. Appears well in this. FIORE CLOUD (4) Looked good when 3rd last time here. Jockey Hiroto Yoshihara and trainer Kazuyoshi Katou work well together. Showing great form since coming back from a break. Among better hopes. EL RIO (2) Lacklustre showing when 10th last start around here but will try to take advantage of the gate. Worth keeping safe.
