UFC Fight Night 250 Adesanya vs. Imavov Picks - UFC Predictions & MMA Betting Odds
The UFC will be returning to Saudi Arabia this February as former two-time middleweight champion Israel Adesanya takes on Nassourdine Imavov. This will be Adesanya’s first non-title fight in six years. The co-main event is another exciting matchup between top strikers as Sharabutdin Magomedov takes on Michael Page. Plus, there are lots of other great fights to look forward to as you watch and bet on UFC here at Stake Sportsbook.
When & Where is UFC Fight Night 250 Adesanya vs. Imavov?
UFC Fight Night 250 will take place on February 1, 2025, at the anb Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
After being at the top of the food chain in the UFC middleweight division since first winning the interim title in 2019, Adesanya is now fighting to avoid his third loss in a row. The New Zealand-based fighter made six consecutive title defenses during his reign. However, he lost to Sean Strickland after winning his rematch against Alex Pereira and was then submitted for the first time in his career in a title fight against current champion Dricus Du Plessis.
Imavov is currently ranked 5th in the division, most recently securing a unanimous decision win over Brendan Allen. His other notable wins are over Jared Cannonier and Roman Dolidze, and the middleweight contender will now get his first shot at a fighter ranked in the top three. While Imavov is a capable fighter and Adesanya has slowed down, the former champion should still be good enough to win if he can keep the fight on the feet.
Sharabutdin Magomedov vs Michael Page
Sharabutdin, better known simply as Shara or Shara Bullet, has gained a reputation as one of the most exciting strikers in the UFC. His last fight saw him win by an impressive KO off a double spinning backfist and he has three bonuses in his last three fights. While he may not be a complete MMA fighter, he’s definitely fun to watch.
Like Shara Magomedov, Michael Page is a lot of fun to watch in the cage, with extremely high-level striking. He usually fights at welterweight, where he’s ranked no. 15 after beating Kevin Holland in his debut. Fighting up a weight class means the fight card odds are against him, but the speed and timing of Page should give him an edge. Either way, it will be a competitive fight and a lot of fun to watch for the fans.
Sergey Pavlovich vs Jairzinho Rozenstruik
After a hugely impressive run through the UFC’s heavyweight division that saw him finish six opponents in a row, winning four performance bonuses, Pavlovich suffered losses to Tom Aspinall and Alexander Volkov. With only one other loss on his record, Pavlovich is still a high-ranked fighter. However, back-to-back losses may have shaken his confidence, and it will be interesting to see how he responds.
Rozenstruik has been a stalwart of the heavyweight division since he came to the UFC in 2019. In that time, he’s won 9 and lost 5, though his only losses have come to the best in the division. He’s fought many big punchers before, so he’ll be aware of the danger that Pavlovich possesses in his hands.
